Volleyball Rules
We will follow NFHS Rules Guidelines with the following exceptions:
Net Height: 6'5''
4th Grade Serving: May start 1 step in front of the service line.
5th Grade Serving: Must start behind the service line, but may step over on serve
6th Grade Serving: Must start behind the service line, and shall not step over the line
Best 2/3 sets will be played. Playing to 25 (rally scoring) CAP IS 27. If 1 team wins both sets and time allows it, please play the 3rd set (This is about playing as much as possible and learning). 3rd set will be played to 15, CAP IS 17.
A server may only serve 5 points in a row MAXIMUM. After 5 points have been scored, the serving team will need to rotate for the next server to start.
Teams that pass, set (overhead pass), and finish with an attack will receive an additional point for that rally.
